Behaviour Matters offers a variety of group programs for children of different ages. We create our program schedule based on family needs and can accommodate most scheduling requests.

Cool Tools
8 week program - 90 minute sessions - Ages: School Age

The Cool Tools group will help children to develop positive social skills, build self-esteem and learn strategies to deal with their anger in appropriate and acceptable ways.

Children will develop new skills in a discussion and activity-based program which includes role-playing, expressive art activities, cooperative games and home assignments.

Children are grouped according to their age and grade.

Let's Be Friends
Pre-School Skills Program
6 week program - 90 minute sessions - Ages: Pre-school
Weekend Groups

Let's Be Friends is a play-based program to teach social skills in a fun and stimulating environment. Children will learn to share, listen, follow directions, take turns, enter play with peers and identify feelings of one`s self and others. Snack will be served.

The facilitator is a registered Early Childhood Educator.

A maximum of six children can participate in each six week program.

Teen Talk
8 week program - 90 minute sessions - Ages: Teen

The Teen Talk group will help adolescents to develop positive social skills, build self- esteem, learn strategies to deal with problems, identify and express feelings and become more aware of non- verbal communication.

Adolescents will develop new skills in a discussion and activity based program which includes role-playing, expressive art, and cooperative activities.

Girl Power
8 week program - 90 minute sessions - Ages: 10 - 14 years

Girl Power is a girl's empowerment group that will help girls to increase their independance through responsible decision making, develop and maintain satisfactory peer relations, deal with peer pressure and help them to plan for the future.
